• Approximately 350 U.S. colleges and universities have eliminated or altered their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs and practices to comply with Trump’s executive orders.
• The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that parents can exclude their children from school lessons about homosexuality and transgenderism if they feel the material conflicts with their religious faith.
• The high court also ruled that states can ban “gender-affirming care” for minors — ahem, that is, “child mutilation.”

These recent successes are in sharp contrast to the rapid adoption of woke principles in nearly every segment of American life over the past decade. Woke is a parasite slowly eating away at Christian values, the traditional family, and everything that makes America great. If you take the time to read what progressives say about these woke principles, they try to frame them as morally good, virtuous, fair, and a cure for humanity’s ills. However, their language obscures true intent. Consider DEI, in which “diversity” forbids diversity of thought, “equity” is socialism based on prioritizing equal outcomes over equal opportunities, and “inclusion” only applies to those who hold no power and conform to woke principles.

As a Marxist instrument, woke is part of a worldview that seeks to upend absolute truth, faith in God, and long-held traditions. It strives to cast doubt on what distinguishes right from wrong, redefines how people identify themselves, and discourages living a life devoted to Christianity, traditional family values, and American ideals.

Woke Remains a Distinct Threat to American Families

While woke culture has experienced significant setbacks this year and appears to be in full retreat, don’t be fooled. Woke has sunk its claws into all segments of society and doesn’t want to let go. You can still find it in the schools with their promotion of progressive curriculums, gender ideology, and anti-American teachings. Social media continues to censor the truth, confuse narratives on crucial issues, and undermine traditional values. And the entertainment industry, with no morals, continues to deliver inappropriate content that reprograms how kids perceive right from wrong.

Why “Post-Woke” is a Dangerous Illusion

Despite the recent positive headlines, woke isn’t dead; it’s just in hiding. Know that instead of dismantling, revising, or scaling back woke initiatives, many institutions are just rebranding them with different names and adjusted descriptions. Progressives are playing the long game, believing they can continue to subtly influence cultural change because we mistakenly think the battle has been won.
