Politicians who block domestic drilling often end up pleading with the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) for extra barrels.

Conservatives understand that strong nations run on strong energy. We see liberty as a lived reality, not a talking point. Powering farms, factories, and family homes with American oil and gas protects paychecks and keeps decisions local.

Silence is consent. The federal plan to monitor every bank transaction over $600 shows how far bureaucrats will go, once given the chance. Letting the same crowd dictate your energy choices invites that reach into your thermostat and the fuel tank.

What’s at Stake: Jobs, Families, and Freedom

Look at the faces in North Dakota or West Texas after a sudden rig shutdown. Entire counties depend on those wages. Coal employment has already fallen more than 50% since 2011, emptying communities across Appalachia. Small-town diners that once buzzed at dawn now sit quiet.

This is also a sovereignty issue. In 2022, the White House asked OPEC for more oil while blocking leases at home. A nation that begs rivals for fuel surrenders leverage abroad and stability at home. You cannot be free if the lights flicker each time a foreign cartel squeezes supply.

Conservative Values Drive Smart Energy

We believe God gave us resources to steward, not ignore. Natural gas alone accounts for roughly two-thirds of the power sector’s carbon drop since 2005, while also reducing sulfur and nitrogen pollution. Modern leak-detection tech slashes methane emissions at wellheads. Carbon capture feeds enhanced oil recovery, which stores millions of tons of CO2 below ground, boosting domestic supply.

The green narrative says it must be fossil fuels or the planet. Data proved the split is false. Responsible drilling and cleaner output can walk together when innovation, accountability, and honest numbers guide the work.
