One Nation Under God — Or Have We Forgotten Him?
The Pledge of Allegiance — this declaration of loyalty to our flag and country is as familiar to us as the air we breathe. It affirms our national identity, expresses our core values as Americans, and reflects our Christian heritage.
However, does America still believe that we are “one nation under God?” Or have we forgotten the very One we claim to honor?
And if so, can a nation that turns its back on God still stand?
In times like these, which are marked by cultural division, societal disintegration, and shifting morals, we at FourG Media stand firm for truth, authentic American values, and God’s unchanging Word that shaped the very foundations of our nation — God is one of our core four pillars.
Modern Symptoms of a Nation That Has Forgotten God
The last few decades have borne witness to troubling signs that America has forgotten God. Traditional family values and honor for the once-sacred bonds of marriage are disintegrating. Lines are becoming blurred, especially regarding gender and sexual identity. Disregard for life and contempt for the law are leaving our society vulnerable to crime, violence, and injustice.
Biblical values such as honesty, hard work, and honoring God and others have been replaced by moral relativism and the pursuit of self. Widespread mental health issues, addiction, and self-glorification reflect deep emotional and spiritual unrest.
The result is a nation that no longer reveres God or honors absolute truth. Instead, it embraces shifting standards dictated by the world — standards that lead to national decay.
At FourG Nation, our mission is to stand for truth and provide clarity, honesty, and commitment to our nation’s foundational values in this time of confusion.
History Speaks — Without God, National Strength Crumbles
The U.S. was founded by God-fearing men and women who were committed to establishing a nation that abided under God’s sovereignty, with justice and liberty grounded in Scripture, and public and private morality rooted in Christian virtues.
Former American leaders warned us that our nation is not freer; it is weaker without God.
“We have forgotten God, and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own.” – Abraham Lincoln
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” – John Adams
“America needs God more than God needs America. If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.” – Ronald Reagan
When Silence Costs a Nation: A Call to Repentance
The Old Testament warns us of what happens when a nation forgets God. When the Israelites apostacized against the Lord, He withdrew His blessings and protection. Consequently, their society unraveled through corruption, violence, and immorality (Isaiah 1:21-23). The Northern Kingdom was conquered and exiled by Assyria (2 Kings 17:6-8), and the Southern Kingdom later fell to Babylon and was also carried into exile (2 Chronicles 36:15-20).
God declares in Scripture that He will judge all things at the end of time. However, He judges nations in time. Rather than condemn America, God desires to heal our land and restore relationship with hearts that genuinely seek Him (2 Chronicles 7:14-15).
Therefore, let us not drown in spiritual apathy. Rather, let us stand in the gap and repent for the sins of our nation! Let us remember where we came from and Who we belong to!
FourG Nation: Leading America Back to God
At FourG Nation, we are called to be a light in the darkness — a bold voice defending faith, family, and freedom. In a culture that often compromises truth, we must rise with courage, lead in our communities, and stand unwavering in God’s Word.
Let us not shrink back, but step forward — boldly and faithfully — as those who remember what our nation has forgotten. God bless America!
